Academics

I’m drawn to subjects that reward problem-solving through trial and error. Math and physics have always been my way of thinking through problems, and I love to challenge myself with competitions and self-imposed challenges.

A few of my Academic Highlights:
• Best in Mathematics (Grades 9–11)
• Best in Additional Mathematics (Grades 10–11)
• Top Academic Achiever in IGCSEs (7A*s)
• AISEN STEM Competition – National Winners
• AISEN Mathematics Competition – National - 1st runner up

What I work on

I learn best by building and testing ideas myself. Most of my free time goes into exploring flight by designing aircraft in Kerbal Space Program, modelling components in Blender, and running small experiments to understand how things behave at high speeds.

I’ve built a habit of coming back strongly from setbacks. Whether it’s a spaceplane flipping during re-entry or a part I modelled that’s behaving wrong in-game, I enjoy figuring out why it happened and adjusting my design.

Outside of engineering, I tutor younger students in mathematics after school, something that taught me patience and how to simplify ideas to make them easier for someone else to understand. I balance the after-school responsibilities with personal activities, which has helped me get better at managing my time and staying consistent.
